I recently took down a number of tall Emerald cedar trees as they were badly damaged by deer and also impacting the appearance of some nice spruce trees close by. My question is I noticed a few brown areas on some spruce branches and wondered if that was caused by the acidic cedars being in constant contact at those points. Also, that side of the spruce near the cedars obviously was rather bare so wondering if over time with all the new access to natural light will the spruce trees fill out better on that side. Thanks :)
