Has anyone used Sea Soil? I usually amend with mushroom manure, but thought maybe I should try the Sea Soil as well?

We've mostly used Sea Soil in the past and been happy. This year we switched it up and are trying mushroom manure for the first time.

Sea Soil make a variety of blends. The one I used last year was absolutely horrid, hardly anything grew in it. What's your intended use?

I have been neglecting my composting routine, and use bought substances to amend my garden soil. I have tried the compost available from the Vancouver landfill, but have the sense that things don't grow well in it?? Just a sense, no real proof. The best amendment I ever had was the manure pile at a local horse farm, now defunct!

I wish the compost from the landfill was better. I find it too polluted by bits of plastic. We used some years ago and I am still picking out plastic from the garden beds.

I have not found plastic, but have not been really pleased with it, apart from its abundance and it's free! I have set up a new compost area and will work harder to generate my own.
