Wildflowers: Purple flower

    This beautiful purple flower was growing in
    semi-shade beside a single track dirt road on the ridge of a dug out ditch, which had water in it.
    The soil was dark, and not like the usual London Clay around here.
    There was a group of them in this place, and then no more anywhere.

    Plant height: Approximately 10 inches.
