I would like some advice to try to save this plant. Have a lot of meaning for my Girlfriend. Is from is grandad. Iam not expert in Plants so I would like the best advice to try save her. Thanks in advance

It looks like Trachycarpus fortunei, Windmill Palm. It may be done for if there isn't a healthy growing tip in the center.
