Hello! I’m looking for advice on planting a peach tree. We have a red haven tree that we bought in the early spring, thinking we would keep it in a large pot. We have since decided to plant in ground. When would be the best time to plant? Couldn’t do it now, or is it better to wait until it’s dormant and plant in late winter/early spring?

I would plant it now; that will allow the roots to grow and give it an earlier start next spring. Redhaven has no problems with our winter temperatures.
