I have a lemon seedling that has some interesting 'growths' at the tip of branches that have stopped the seedling from growing. I am attaching picture and would appreciate if someone would be kind enough to let e know what those green growths are. Thanks!
Probably a fungus. You need to use correct sanitation procedures and spray with a fungicide. It's a little hard to tell in the picture but check to make sure it is not tiny little insects.
Thanks for the info. I used a magnifying glass to have a look and there are no insects present. The plant is still alive, but kind of stunted and the growths are now darkish green. I tried a number of home-made fungicides but to no effect. Once again thanks for your reply.
