I've spotting one of the most electric trees in the entire Eugene area, I'm almost positive it's a Fireglow but it's still a guess.

Compared to my Bloodgood in my home garden, the Bloodgood is a greening muddy purple this time of year and not really exciting, still a nice tree in the landscape though... just nothing special.

Agree Connor, my Red Flash is the same ATM muddy greens with a lot of crispy leaves as well this year. Not sure what the tree in the photos is, but it is very nice indeed.

    Hi Ken,

Just wondering if you have a pic of their autumn colours?

I know it's an old post but was just reviewing this post.

    Thanks!

Here are the fall colours of the Bloodgood and fireglow in our garden.
Both trees will thrive in full sun and almost similar in size when fully mature. The fireglow is ideal in the container medium.
The bloodgood is over 50 year old in the field and the fireglow is now around 40 years in the container. Definitely a brighter fall colour then the bloodgood, but both are beautiful cultivars.
