Got a big, beautiful Bleeding Heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis) that needs dividing and moving this season. It is in full flower now...but when is the best time to divide and move it?

    Many thanks!

Best go about it in the fall when it's going into senescence, you want to give a chance of establishing roots before winter sets in. You potentially could have done it first thing this spring when it started to break but obviously you're well beyond that point.
