Y'all, This is my first post in probably 15+ years. My daughter just obtained some bamboo via Facebook Marketplace. This is in the Puget Sound area of Washington State, USA. What photos would I need to include to get help on identifying the species? Please also help me understand key identifiers for bamboo. Thanks, Zeb Haney Arborist
Welcome back, @Zeb Haney. Douglas Justice featured bamboo in three of his monthly blogs, and I made forum postings linking to two of the blog articles and adding several photos. I'm not saying I'd be able to look at the blog and all the photos and identify your bamboo, but Douglas does mention key features, which are a start to answer your second request.
