Here is a link to The British Flower Garden, Jan 1835. It is a complete book published on Google books. It has hundreds of original or early descriptions with fascinating snippets, in slightly antique English, about the discovery & culture of these plants. I've linked it directly to my favorite page, Datura sanguinea (now Brugmansia sanguinea), since growing these is my main hobby.
