      <content:encoded><![CDATA[It&#039;s getting harder to find things in the yard that haven&#039;t fallen into senescence as yet, and even that offers some fascinating sights, however brief they last.<br />
<br />
We decided this spring that we&#039;d pretty well had enough of the hanging baskets with the usual annual suspects and we did all ours using mostly a wide variety of perennials. This basket was one of your favourites and while not the most splashy over the summer, it continues to show some welcome colour in the garden this time of year....<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[One of my favourite things to do is filming hummingbirds and then taking out frames for still shots. Sometimes I can find only one frame that makes for a good still shot in minutes of film because they move so fast. One would just have to be plain lucky, I think, to get any good still photos from snap shots tho when they are slowed down in the summer heat it is more possible.<br />
So, I thought I&#039;d share some of my pics  of where hummingbirds like to dine, here. <br />

 <span style="font-family: 'Arial'"><span style="font-size: 10px">The workers are brought in on permit annually from  the Caribbean. The rubber muscle generation finds the work too physical.  Unemployment in Canada is around 10%. Pay for agriculture workers is minimum  wage, around $10.00 per hour.</span></span><br />
