I have a foxtail palm tree in front of my home. The palms have been slowly drying up and turning brown the last 6-8 weeks. I currently reside in Florida and we have been facing a cold front the last couple of weeks. I currently have a sprinkler irrigation and water it once a week for about 40 minutes. Sadly I had to cut down the last few branches as they have practically withered away.

Can anyone give me any advice? Will it produce new branches in the spring? Is there anything I...
It has far less leaves and only recently I noticed large, woody bulbous growths all of the branches. I would appreciate if someone could please help me identify the issue. I am scared of losing this tree or even worse, having the issue jump to the neighbouring poincianas. Thank you in advance!

I am relatively new to plants. I started to do this about 3 months and have put considerable effort into learning. I thought once Cocos Nuciferas were sproted (not yet leaves) just the sprout, and over 50% of the sprout covered in green, according to ALL I read on the internet, I thought they were going to start needing lots of sun. Turns out, on a partly cloudy/partly sunny, but mostly sunny afternoon, I put my C. Nuciferas (two) outside from 12:00 pm to almost 5:00 pm. I put...

I am wondering what is the hardiness of Metrosideros Umbellata is. I read that this tree has been grown as far north as Scotland in the Northern Hemisphere. I wonder if anyone has ever tried this tree in the Pacific Northwest anywhere and if it could succeed.....

Just a little something to share,

I happened upon 100 seeds from our temple in S.Korea ( Jogyesa in Seoul) of various lotus seeds.
The lotuses these came from were from various youth groups, schools and Buddhist (denominational) Universities across the region during buddha's Birthday in 2019 (May.12th)
This is the second growth year for my lotus plant and it should flower within the next several weeks.

In terms of hardiness, lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) is a pretty strong plant but does...

I planted two pygmy date palms by my pool over a year ago. For the most part, they have been doing very well up until a couple months ago. The fronds on one of the trunks started turning brown quickly and dying off to the point I removed the last few. I added a balanced liquid palm fertilizer but to no avail. The top of the trunk where the new fronds come out seems very damp/wet and I'm wondering if I have trunk rot or some kind of fungal infection. Any ideas on how I can save this...
