Making an Online Donation to UBC Botanical Garden
Thank you for considering an online donation to UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research!
UBC Policy asks that all donations be processed by the UBC Development Office. We've put together a guide to help you with the online donation process and ensure that your donation is directed to UBC Botanical Garden.
Step 1: Visit the UBC Donate Now web page on the UBC Development Office web site.
Step 2: Likely, you're planning a one-time gift. Click on the link to one-time gift (or decide if you wish to pursue a different option, like a monthly gift).
Step 3: Read the security statement (and note the minimum donation of $10 CAD for one-time gifts).
Step 4 (CRITICAL): Under the heading Select Your Gift Designation, select I prefer to donate to: then type in UBC Botanical Garden.
Step 5: After clicking the continue button, you will be taken to a page where you fill out contact and payment information. Note that UBC has contracted with beanstream.com to handle the financial transaction, so the URL of the web page has changed from ubc.ca. Your information remains secure.
Step 6: After completing the contact and payment information, sit back and enjoy the feeling of knowing that you've contributed to plant education, research and conservation. Thank you!
