Statistics Seminar
Category(-ies): Seminars/Workshops
Dana Aeschliman will give a presentation entitled Several examples of statistics used in experiments involving microarrays and protein 2-D gels at the Stats seminar, on Thursday October 21, 2004. The seminar will be held in Rm 302, LS Klinck Bldg, 4pm.
Abstract: For the past nearly two years of work I have
focused almost exclusively on aiding researchers in high
throughput molecular biology. I have aided them by creating software
for their use as well as helping with the design and analysis of
experiments involving two color microarrays or protein 2-D gels. I will
begin with a brief introduction of these kinds of data sets and will
subsequently discuss some of the work that I have done in this area.
For directions to the LS Klinck building, please visit the IT Services Map.
