Graduate Assistantship in the lab of Dr. Keith Adams

A Graduate Assistantship (M. S. or Ph. D.) is available in the lab of Dr. Keith Adams at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in the area of plant molecular evolution and genomic evolution, starting September 2006. Dr. Adams seeks a highly motivated graduate student to work on molecular evolution and gene expression in polyploid and hybrid plants. To learn more about Dr. Adams' research visit his webpage http://www.botany.ubc.ca/people/adams.htm. Informal inquiries about the research area are welcome and can be sent to keitha@interchange.ubc.ca.

UBC has a strong and interactive group of evolutionary biologists, including several at the Centre for Plant Research and Department of Botany.

Candidates should have a strong undergraduate background in biology, and prior research experience with molecular techniques is desirable but not required. For more information contact Keith Adams, Assistant Professor, Centre for Plant Research and Botany Department, University of British Columbia.
