The Legume Information System

The Legume Information System, a website focusing on the genetics, physiology and biochemistry of legumes has been created by the National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR) in Santa Fe, New Mexico in a cooperative agreement with the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS).

LIS website users can compare genetic and molecular data from various legume species. By clicking on a virtual plant, researchers can access transcript data and libraries associated with the part of the plant and stage of development that interests them. Mapping data, genomic data and BLAST queries are available along with an extensive list of other resources.
