First meeting of BC Bioproducts Association

The BC Bioproducts Working Group invites you to attend the first meeting of the British Columbia Bioproducts Association. Mark this date on your calendar and plan to be in Kelowna for this important meeting.

Bioproducts…
…are sustainable, environmentally-friendly, novel products, or products satisfying novel applications and generated from renewable (living) bioresources, based on technologically advanced eco-efficient conversion processes. They can include biofuels, bioenergy, a wide range of biochemicals, nutraceuticals and connected biotechnology services such as genomics and bioprocessing.

Our vision…
To provide a focus for the emerging bio-based industries of BC,
To represent the bio-based economy and bring together diverse sectors in its inception.
To help BC companies access funding initiatives designed to grow the bio-based economy.

Our members will include...
Owners, CEO’s and managers of businesses of all sizes with an interest in bioproducts
Consultants and advisors to all parts of the bioproducts value chain
Representatives of non government agencies with a stake in the bioproducts sector in BC
Members of regional, provincial and federal governments with an interest in bioproducts
Individuals interested in development of the bio-based economy in BC

The first business meeting of the British Columbia Bioproducts Association
Election of 8 – 12 directors for this new organization

There will be no registration fees to attend this event.
