Dr. Alise Cassidy public lecture


Dr. Cassidy will be presenting a lecture entitled "Supporting students to take responsibility for their own learning" on Friday 30th April, 9.30 am, Room 318D, lounge.

Alice Cassidy is Associate Director at the Centre for Teaching and Academic Growth Centre for Teaching and Academic Growth , and Lecturer in Zoology. She is a professional biologist (with ecology and ornithology as specialties) who has taught undergraduate courses for 11 years. In TAG, she oversees programs such as the faculty Instructional Skills Workshop, the UBC PBL Network, Seminar Series and Institutes. She also edits TAG's newsletter Tapestry, and works with faculty members, departments and entire faculties on many aspects of teaching, learning and professional development.
