Michael Donoghue Lectures
Michael Donoghue will be presenting a seminar entitled “On the recurrence of form in evolution” on April 7th at 4pm in room 60 of the FNS building. The following day at 11am, he will be giving a talk on the “Biogeography of the Northern Hemisphere” at the Botanical Garden.
Michael Donoghue is a specialist in the field of plant diversity and evolution. He is one of the most eminent authorities on the Chinese and North American floras. He has long term interests in the Order Dipsacales, including Viburnum and its relatives.
The seminar is sponsored by the Otto lab as part of the Evolution, Ecology and Biodiversity Seminar Series.
Michael will be available to meet with grad students, postdocs and faculty on Wednesday April 7th and Thursday April 8th.
