Botany Grad Students Assoc. Symposium
The 2004 Botany Graduate Students Association Symposium occurs on Wednesday, March 10 at GSS Thea's Lounge (6371 Crescent Road) from 10am to 5pm.
The event is constructed to allow people to go in and out of the symposium, and spend as much or as little time as they can make available. A free lunch is available at 1:30pm, but an RSVP is requested (email address for this pending).
Twenty-two graduate students, including some from the UBC Centre for Plant Research will present. Opening the symposium at 10am is the keynote speaker, Dr. Neil Towers, with his apty titled talk, “Reflections of an Ancient Graduate Student.”
