Graduate Assistantship - Molecular Evolution

A Graduate Assistantship (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) is available in the lab of Dr. Keith Adams at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Centre for Plant Research in the area of plant molecular and genomic evolution, starting fall 2004. Dr. Adams is looking for a highly motivated graduate student to work with him on molecular evolution in polyploid and hybrid plants. Research will focus on expression and silencing of genes duplicated by polyploidy. Inquiries about the research area are welcome.

Candidates should have a strong undergraduate background in biology, and prior research experience with molecular techniques is desirable. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, and names of 3 references directly to Keith Adams and apply to one of the following UBC graduate programs:
