Liquidambar styraciflua 'Lane Roberts'

An early-falling leaf of 'Lane Roberts' sweetgum on the brown grass of late summer.

I actually liked the peudotsuga mensiesii water abstract except that the title is a misnomer.
Oh it was arbutus, I wouldnt have known.
There is nothing wrong with abstract qua abstract but a botanical illustration it aint.
