2004 Maple Society Gathering
From the desk of Sue Wiegrefe on August 5, 2004:
“Dear Maple Society Member:
I hope you are considering joining us for our 2004 gathering here at The Morton Arboretum this October. You'll find attached a file which includes program description, registration information and other logistical information to help you decide and register.”
“Since there are also registration limits due to constraints on room size and bus capacity, please register early if you intend to, so you are assured a place.
Additional member information of a time-sensitive nature:
PHOTO CONTEST
We've extended the deadline for entering the photo contest until September 1st, due to the late posting of the June Newsletter. Don't feel you need to be a professional to take part. We'd like to see the wonderful maples you've been capturing on film/electronic media.
SEED EXCHANGE
I've volunteered the Morton Arboretum to act as clearinghouse for seeds being sent to England as contributions and also to receive the U.S. seeds as a single packet. If you are interested in contributing seeds for the exchange, please have them to me before the first of October.
I hope to see you all soon!”
