Please be aware that most information disclosed in the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research forums is public, and you should exercise caution when choosing to disclose that information. E-mail addresses are kept private, but may be used by UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research staff to generate mailing lists solely for use by UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research staff to communicate with forum users. Please note that if the "email this user" form is used in the forums to send an email to another user, then the sender's email address will be displayed to the recipient.
With the exception of the above, information gathered through the UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research web site, (http://www.ubcbotanicalgarden.org) is solely for use by UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research and its staff. Information is not and will not be sold or given to any third-party. Information gathered is mainly used for web site administration, but there are occasions when web site visitors submit information requesting that we contact them.
