What plant could this be??

If you can identify this plant, I'd be so grateful...I took a smooth heart shaped leaf (with a petiole) from a plant that had about three long (atleast a foot and a half) smooth green stalks on it, each leaf on the plant was a different shade between red and green depending on how far away from the base of the plant they were. Also on top of the leaf are a lot of small white/silverish dots. I didn't see any buds and definitely no flowers on the plant. The leaf I took was doing really good with growing some long roots on its own, but a recent move from one city to another appears to have gotten the best of it, so I'd like to know what it is in order to buy another plant like it.
