palm tree identification

hello, i'm hoping someone can help me--

i bought a tree at my local lowes (it was very inexpensive) and wanted to make sure i
care for it properly. problem is, i don't know what it is. the only identification on it
was "assorted palms, easy to grow, have graceful, divided leaves. likes indirect light, moderately moist soil, moderate home temperature of 65-70 F" it is over 6 feet tall, has a very tough, woody base and stem which splits in two in the middle where newer growth (a third stem) occurs. the leaves grow off the main stems and are long, (up to one and one half feet), thin, and look very much like superlong individual blades of grass or spider plant leaves. i think it might be sick because some of its' leaves have white spots on them, but on the whole it looks ok. any idea what my new plant is and how i can best care for it?

thank you very very much!
