Anyone know what this is? I have a picture taken from St. Augustine, FL, if I can figure out how to post it here....

It appears about 8 to 10 inches tall and looks like garbanzo beans in a cone with rust colored hairs. I am stumped...

    Thanks for any help.

Cool. That's the infructescence (the plant in its fruiting stage) of Conopholis americana, featured previously on Botany Photo of the Day.
