Mystery plant - tree-like

Hi there,

I just purchased this plant from a florist. It didn't have a tag, and the counter woman couldn't recall its name. I'd really appreciate your help in learning more about it.

Thanks!

Re: Mystery plant - tree-like

from what I remember, schefflera, arboricola and tupidanthes(sp?) were kinda interchangeable terms for umbrella plants when I was in the retail sector. I thought the smaller were arboricola, the medium was schefflera and the largest was tupidanthes. I could be outdated and awry in this info.

Re: Mystery plant - tree-like

I thought the small ones were Schefflera arboricola aka "dwarf schefflera" and the larger ones were Schefflera actinophylla. I think most of the ones sold as houseplants are Schefflera arboricola...
