Help me id this plant!

We've had this plant for quite a while. It was given to us by a friend who was moving & could not take it with them.

It blooms as well....really nice, very big flowers (white with a bit of pink)...tropical looking & it seems to be a succulent of some sort...

Does anybody here know what it's name is? & how to properly take care of it?

Thank you,
Daisy

Without an image of the flower it is difficult to make a positive id, but it definitely is an Epiphyllum.
See this thread for a closely related plant.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much Chris for the fast response! I would have replied sooner, but with the blackouts here in Ontario...it's been difficult to get on line.

The picture of the flower on the other thread you suggested is identical to the blooms that our plant had.

Now I can do some research on the Epiphyllum & take proper care of it :)

I think that this web site is great & now I know where to go if I ever have any other questions or to just see what others post on here!

thanks again,
Daisy

It is actually Epiphyllum phyllanthus to be precise.
