Ignorant of plant names, need help learning

I've been photographing flowers and other plants lately and using them to form digital art. However, I am quite ignorant of plants and would appreciate help identifying the ones I use. One mystery flower is attached.

This is a Dahlia hybrid. Not sure we can specify which one it is because there are hundreds if not thousands of them.
