Re: How to post a no-frills message

My red sister seems to be suddenly dying. When moving it, I noticed worms in the soil and in the drain dish under it. What can I do? I don't think it has too long. The other identical plant across the room, seems to be doing fine. Thanks for any help!

Re: Cordiline "Red Sister"

Change the soil.

If all else fails, take a cutting of the healthiest part of the stem and re-root.

Re: Cordiline "Red Sister"

I suspect it is too wet. Barerooting and repotting is the immediate remedy, watering differently the long-term one (unless it became too wet recently because the potting mix got old and mucky).
