Book Fair Plant

Hello,

I got this plant at the local book fair and I would like to care for it. Could somebody please identify it for me?

Thanks,

Susan

Plant Identification

We always called it a "Wandering Jew" -- I hope that is politically OK. (Tradescantia zebrina I think)

Some web sites I found...

yes that is a typical wandering jew . not to much care for it .. it is a very easy plant to look after . just hang it up in a sunny window and dont let it dry out .. keep somewhat moist .. and very easy to root .. if a piece breaks off just stick it back in the dirt or in a glass of water .. and it will root in no time .. one of th easiest plants to care for ..
