need help identifying plant

The plant that I need help identifying is a flowering plant. Its leaves are green with a lance-like shape. Its leaf edges are toothed and its stems are very hairy. Its leaf arrangements are most likely basal. In these clusters they are starting to bloom tiny purple flowers. I would be much appreciated if someone could help me out.

Hi there,
Hard to say from just a description what your plant is, but you might try running a google search on gesneriads (a large group of relatively common flowering houseplants including african violets, gloxinia, streptocarpus and many more that loosely fit your description). Good luck!
