Can you help please????

Hi I received this plant from a friend but I don't know what it is, and neither does she. At first it was just a little palm, with 3 or 4 leaves, and now it has grown a lot. one of the leave is about 2 times taller than the rest and produces yellow flowers with a purple center. The tip of this leaf has started to divide into 3 or 4 little leaves plus the flowers stems (2 of them). And now 2 little ''babies'' have started to grow besides the initial plant.
Do you know what it is??

Thank you very much, and sorry if my english is not too good (i don't really know the ''technical terms''...)
