Here is 'Koshimino'. Notice the unusual leaf shape, even for a japanese maple. The leaves are difficult to describe, but basically what you get is a tuft of feather shaped lobes along the branches. The tree grows fairly vigorously up to 20 ft or so. The fall colors are usually nice yellows and oranges.

The tree usually performs well in part sun to part shade. It could probably tolerate full sun in most locations with minimal damage.

Origin likely japanese, a fairly old cultivar I believe. The leaf shape is almost identical to 'Hagoromo', but the tree grows significantly larger according to Vertrees.
