fishy decision/ falling leaves

I have been reading up on fish emulsion im a little confused. can i just use the dirty water from my betta tank or is fish emulsion something completely different.

also i have a heart shape Philodendron that has reached about 5 to 6 feet in length and im finding the leaves in the middle are turing yellow and dying not alot of them but i would like advice as to why its happening and how can i stop it. should i cut it back i dont' really want to cause it looks sooo nice long and full

Fish emulsion is a fertiliser made from dried, ground-up fish. Ethically very unacceptable given the degree of overfishing globally, unless it is made from inedible fish waste (heads, bones, etc.), which some fish emulsion is.

Yes, you can use dirty water from fish tanks to water plants, provided it hasn't been treated with any medication for diseased fish. It will contain a little bit of nutrient useful to plants from the fish excreta, but not a lot.
