Hello to everyone. It is so nice to find this forum.
I purchased these plants at a supermarket and all it said was tropical.
Can anyone identify these plants please?
Thank you,
Elisabeth
Hi Thanks for your replys.
With your help I was able to narrow the pink plant down to
VERSCHAFELTII PEARCEI JUANITA "Pink Snakeskin Plant"
I also found it under Nerve Plant.
The other plant is correctly variegated Pleomele reflexa - song of india
I also found a lighter version with bright green leaves that was called song of Java.

Re: Tropical Plants?
I don't think that is "Song of India" (variegated Pleomele reflexa, species now known as Dracaena reflexa). Song of India has yellow edged leaves like the one in this thread: http://www.ubcbotanicalgarden.org/fo...ad.php?t=13561
The leaves of your plant, livnlet, looks exactly like the Dracaena fragrans 'Warneckii' I have at home. That grey/green colour is rather distinctive. Either way it is a Dracaena and you can base your care on that.

Thanks Eric,
My plant looks exactly like the one pictured here.
http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/3003/
But you are right it also looks like Dracaena fragrans 'Warneckii' except the leaves in the image are a brighter green.
I found out that it is in the same family as a corn plant. I have a huge one of those.
Thank you again.

Re: Tropical Plants?
Yeah there are a lot of similar looking dracaenas. The plant in the image on Dave's has cream/yellow leaf margins; the image in your initial post has green margins, so I am still not convinced it is Song of India, but they are similar enough not to wory about the difference in care.

Elisabeth, I also agree your plant is Dracaena deremensis 'Warneckii'. (I've seen it with each of those species name-fragrans-so not sure). Here's an example: http://horticulture.missouri.edu/tri...racaena-dw.htm
The 2nd one could have had name changes, but Fittonia verschaffeltii var. pearcei is one that fits. There are so many common names, it could get too confusing. http://aoki2.si.gunma-u.ac.jp/Botani...amimegusa.html
You should be able to find care info with either of these botanical names.
