Beginner's aloe vera problems

A month or two ago I potted an aloe vera plant and it was doing well. Lately it seems to be developing brown spots and drooping though. I dont think it's a watering problem and, being a beginner, I'm not sure what to do about it. Any ideas?

Re: Beginner's aloe vera problems

Are they the lowest leaves? As the plant grows the lowest leaves dry up and die away while new leaves are shot up from the centre of the plant. Does that seem like what is happening?

Can you post a photo of the plant in its current container? It may help us try to sort it out.
