Need House Plant Help~~please Respond!!

I Am New To This, So Please Bear With Me. I Have Never Been Good At Keeping Plants Alive, But I Love Plants. I Just Purchased 2 Plants At An Auction On Friday And I Am Hoping I Can Make Them Live. I Am Not Sure What They Are, But I Know They Are Big. They Both Appeared To Be Drying Up When I Bought Them. We Had To Transport Them Home In The Cold, Because Of Their Sizes.......we Tried To Cover Them. Their Dirt Was Very Dry, So I Immediately Watered Them When We Got Them Home. Today, They Look About The Same As When I Bought Them, But May Be Drying A Little More?? One Looks Like A Ficus, Or Rubber Tree Plant??? It Is About 5ft Tall. It Is Still Green, But Not A Bright Vibrant Looking Green. It Looks To Be Wilting. I Sponged The Leaves And Spray Misted It With Water. I Am Trying To Get It In Some More Light. The Other Plant Looks Like A Tropical Plant. It Appears To Be Mostly Green, But Some Of The Leaves Feel Dry And Crumbly. It Smells Like Tea. I Have Absolutely No Idea What These Plants Are Or How To Care For Them. I Am Praying Someone Will Help Me On This. I Love These Plants And I Hope I Can Save Them!! Please Help!!

Rubber Plant (F. elastica)and Chamaedorea Palm.
Both look like they were exposed to the cold.
Keep them in a bright, warm place and only
water sparingly until you see new growth. They
may be too far gone though.
