My Yucca has two trunks and off each trucnk are two bundles of leaves. Im down to one bundle of leaves. the leaves turned brown and fell off way too fast. i believe it was the lack of light (poor lighting in apt) i hope i have found the right spot for it now getting at least 3+ hrs of filtered light if not direct. however three bunddles are almost dead how can i save my plant? i don't know how or where to cut? HELP and i think its been watered too much i sent it to a friends place to get more light oops HElp ive incl some photo's :o)

It does look overwatered.
I had the same plant and repotted it immediately when I purchased it.
The nursery had overfilled the pot with soil, presumably to help support the trunks.
The true soil line (if it's a fairly new plant for you) can easily be found by exploring down the trunk to where the roots actually start. In my limited experience, I do know that soil should never be higher on the trunk than that original level.
If anything, you could expose an inch or so more of the trunk. Never less.
You might wish to try repotting into an unglazed clay pot with improved drainage, place it in diffused light, and reduce your watering regime (probably by half).
THank you i will repot it. i do have rocks on the bottom for drainage though. i will also try to remove some topsoil. any advise on the leaves and how i could maybe bring them back
Is there are hole in the bottom of your pot for the water to drain out? because thats what you really need not just rocks in the bottom, and only water your plant when it is dry.
