What is the name of this red flowering plant
I received this plant as a gift about 3 years ago. The flower in the pix is about 20% of its full bloom. The bloom can last for several months. To the top of the flower is about 5 feet 5inches. The big green banana like leaves are about 34/35 inches long.

Wow! Better pack it up carefully and ship it to me so I can examine it in person. It will probably take me at least several years to determine what it is.Musaella lasiocarpa , maybe it is related.

I think it may be Musa coccinea .
