Identification Help: citrus? what kind?

can anyone id this pland of mine? and give me some tips of how to care for it?
this plant was left behind when i moved into my house, i since repotted it, and it seemed to really like it for a while.

Suspect probably grown from seeds of fruit bought at market. Various kinds available, of course. Defoliation probably related to onset of winter. If you use forum search/look around there are other thread(s) here about citrus dropping leaves, maybe get a hint there.
