Unknown plant cuttings...tiny leaves...ideas?

I got some cuttings from a friend last weekend and she only knew some of the plants she gave me. This one (see photo) she had no idea about and neither do I! I've searched Google quite a bit and have come up with nothing. Any ideas would be helpful, thanks!!

Possibly a type of Nematanthus, once it flowers you can more closely determine species or cultivar. Joe

Thanks, everyone. It seems you all agree on the family, Gesneriaceae. Nematanthus (Goldfish plant) looks like a promising guess. Flowers will help, yes. The person who gave me the cuttings said her parent plant flowered, so I'll have to wait and see. :)
