Probably Common but can't find info anywhere.

Hi, I have had this plant for over 6 years and it just recently sent this weird flower type thing out and Ive been trying to figure out what the heck it is.

here are a few pictures.

you have a croton, it is a very common house plant and that is its flower. since yours is 6 years old i don't think you really need any info on how to care for it, but i would put it in a pot that gets drainage.
