can someone tell me what these 2 plants are?

these were given to me and I have no idea what they are and they do not look like they are doing well. do they need full or partial sun? I have some good plant lights, will that help them?

Re: can someone tell me what these 2 plants are?

One on left is probably Columnea or Aeschynanthus - without flowers it is hard to go further.

One on right looks like a Tradescantia sp., though none that I am familiar with.
