Interesting photos. Is this for a class? I ask b/c I teach a college level course and I just wouldn't want my students to take an easy way!
If not for a class, my apologies for being skeptical! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with either plant to help you out!

the first is amaranthus tricolour and the second is acalypha hispida. the common names are josephes coat for the first and chenille for the second.
