What plant is this?
Could anyone tell me what is the name of this room plant?I've just moved to a new apartment and the owner left me a room-plant which is totally new to me!should I put it in a sunny or shady place?Thanks!

it might be a type of Calathea .. try googleing it and see what comes up ..

I've been googling it and found lots of Calatheas but none looked similar....maybe I haven't found the right type, yet!Anyhow, I'm waiting for some more suggestions!

wich is in the same family as the Calathea ...let me know if it is ..

oh you are welcome .. they do like humidity .. so just mist every couple of days .. i know some people dont agree that misting does any good ..but it does ..
