Planting indoor plants outdoors

Hello, I'm herblover and this is my first time to this site, so I'm not really sure of what kind of questions to ask. Here's one that's important to me as I love my plants very much. I've been on the move quite a bit for the past ten years, but have managed to settle down for awhile withought having to turn my lovely plants into transients. I'm not sure which houseplants I should convert to outdoor plants. I have snake plants, rubber trees,lantana, begonia, ponytail palm, new guinea impatiens. Also, my huge snake plant feel from the patio and busted. Is it safe to break them apart and put into smaller pots?

Having no idea where Toccoa is, it's hard to advise. That information (state, USDA zone #) would help immensely. Certainly do something with the snake plant, as the roots may already be dried right out (or did you repot it right away?). Lantana is normally an 'outdoor' plant, but again, only in the right climate.

well most of those plants you listed dont belong outside no matter were you live ..mayb the Impatience would be ok .. but the rest i wouldnt . and just stick the broken end of the snake plant in the dirt .. after the end dries a lil bit .. they plant up just like Cactus ..

They certainly could be outdoor plants (what plants ever originated indoors?) if the poster's in a tropical environment.

All of the plants you described would love to go outside for the summer, especially the lantana, but they cannot take any frost, if there is frost where you live.
