Could anyone id these two plants?
1.) The first one: the leaves are the shape of the heart, some people have planted it for over 10 years but never seen the flower. It likes the sun and hot or warm weather. 2.) The second: In the middle of the leaf, there is the quite-dark pink color, the rizhome is look like the ginger. Its rizhome is used to treat the drunk person or to kill the poison (like food poisonous). http://www.ubcbotanicalgarden.org/fo...1&d=1155147497

The first one reminds me of a peperomia ('watermelon plant'), but leaves look larger. The second one's gorgeous, but I have no idea what it is.

I think it is not that peperomia (watermelon plant) because mine(the first one ) if we leave it for many years we will see the height @ 1 meter and from one plant, it will divide into two, the old leaf with the stem will die. I was told that whenever I see the flower, it means good luck is coming, that's why they call it Good luck Charm or Lucky flower. It's very hard to find.
The second one is used as herbal medicine and at the same time as decorative flower. It's very hard for me to find the name of these rare plants.
the second could be a Ginger or a Ti plant .. wich i think is the same thing ..
try googleing it ..

You are right, it looks like Ti plant (Good- luck plant) but it said "With little care. Ti plants can be wonderful houseplants as well. Stem cuttings can also be inserted into a vase with 2-3 inches of water and your ti will grow roots very easily". Mine, it does not grow from stem but from rizhome like ginger but the leaves look almost the same except the tiny brown in the middle.
