Persian Violets--exacum

Hi there. I was given a persian violet, and I don't know too much about it. It has just finished a round of profuse blooming. There are still some buds on it, but not too many. Is there any specific kind of care that this plant requires? When is the next major bloom period? Thank you.

Re: Persian Violets--exacum

Hi,
Most persian violets are sold as flowering potted plants that are only expected to live as long as in flower. However, if your interested in keeping your plant longer, I suggest light fertilization and as much light as possible. High light will induce the plant to keep producing flowers.

Good luck,
